2013 Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam Returns To Moonlight Basin
This Saturday, January 19 Volcom’s Peanut Butter & Rail Jam returns to Moonlight Basin by popular demand. The Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Volcom’s FREE amateur snowboard contest series & Montana‘s premiere snowboard event. Breaking from traditional competition, the goal of this free series is push fun, creativity, & to give something back to the kids.
With it’s fresh format & jam style atmosphere, this event is designed to bring out all that’s fun & true in snowboarding. Instead of having three rails in a row, we put them side by side to create a rail zone. This boosts the energy level and fun nature of the contest because everyone is together, riding, hiking, and watching in a big group. The judges only care about stomped tricks, so there’s no need to worry about falling, & everyone is super supportive. Not to mention that the venue on Cup-A-Joe, just a snowballs throw from the fire pit, playground, & deck at the Headwaters Grille, creates a fun & festive vibe for spectators & riders alike.
