Moonlight Basin’s 2012 Big Sky PBR Mutton Busting Review
“Mama’s don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys.” Waylon and Willie once tried to warn us of the rough and tumble life, but to no avail. Around these parts we start them young. If you can walk you can ski, and if you can ride a bike you can mutton bust!
This years Moonlight Basin sponsored 2012 Big Sky PBR Mutton Busting competition was one of the best. Notable mentions include local cowgirl Lucy Stratford’s strong 3rd place finish, and 3 year old Montana young gun Jory Hill(pro bull rider Beau Hill‘s son) carrying on the family tradition and riding his way into 2nd. The real story of the night, however, was cowgirl Tana Brennan. This little firecracker went the distance and rode the racing wild and wooly beast clear across the arena and straight into the herd on the other side! Congratulations to Tana and all our mutton busting competitors.
