Family Activities: Guided Snowshoe Hike
Moonlight Basin is a place where families come together and enjoy great snow, company and fun. There is no better way to explore the great Big Sky views and come together as a family than a snowshoe hike! During our Guided Snowshoe Hike led by a member of the Moonlight Basin team, you will discover the beauty of the snowshoe trails at Moonlight Basin and learn about Montana wildlife’s winter behaviors. We welcome those of all snowshoe abilities (including beginners) and offer basic snowshoe instruction before all hikes. Bring your whole family to begin the hike at the Season Pass Office at the Madison Village Base Area every Tuesday morning starting at 10 a.m.
- The cost is $10 for the trail fee and $15 for the trail fee plus snowshoe rental
- Hike time is approximately 2.5 miles and of a moderate exertion level and will take about 1.5 hours
